Provider Relief Fund Application Deadline

Eligible providers, including dentists, that participate in Medicaid and CHIP have until Monday, July 20, 2020, to apply for distributions from the Provider Relief Fund under the CARES Act. Providers should begin their application with the U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) now. Please click here to access instructions to begin the application process.

HHS CARES Act

On June 9, 2020, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that they will move forward with the addition of support specific to Medicaid and CHIP program providers to be considered for financial assistance. PPE Resources

Providing Emergency or Urgent Dental Services Only

In accordance with Governor Herbert's “Stay Home, Stay Safe” directive related to the 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19), MCNA is requiring dental providers to provide only emergency or urgent dental services at this time. Please view our Frequently Asked Questions for additional information.


Teledental Temporary Benefit

As part of UDOH's response to the COVID-19 emergency declaration, UDOH has filed a waiver which allows some flexibility during this disaster to ensure access to care for Medicaid members. UDOH will now allow licensed dentists to provide and bill MCNA for teledentistry services that allow for the triage of dental emergencies.
